1 medium sweet potato
2 T. extra virgin olive oil
Seasonings:
1 T. sea salt (to taste)
1 T. cinnamon and cayenne pepper mix (about 50/50)
I was in a rush so I precooked the sweet potato in the microwave before grilling; this is not necessary if you have a longer time to linger by the grill or oven (if oven frying).
Slice cooked sweet potato lengthwise into steak-stlye fries. Place on grill and pour over olive oil and season with sea salt and spices. Grill for about 5 minutes or to your liking. They are delicious alone or make a great accompanment to turkey, grass-fed beef, or bison burgers.
